Welcome to Early Years
The Early Years Programme provides a nurturing environment for children aged two to six. With inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach and guidance from the IB PYP framework, our students discover the joy of learning through a balance of play that faster social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development. Early Years in the PYP is a holistic learning stage that strengthens Student’s Agency preparing them for life-long learners.
We recognize play-based learning as an important tool of play in children’s development and leverage it as a powerful tool for learning and growth. It allows flexibility and individualization, accommodating different learning styles, interests, and abilities. By integrating play into the curriculum, specialized teachers design opportunities to integrate play-based activities that are dynamic, engaging and meaningful learning experiences that promote the overall development of children. From the 2023-2024 school year, we offer after-school extended courses, such as Ballet, Colorful Artists, Little Musician, Hero Kids Sports, Love Reading, English Inquiry, Amazing STEAM, Sensory Integration Training, Life Skills, etc., It is not only the extension of teaching time, but also the enrichment and extension of teaching content. To address the needs of parents, enhance the professional skills and qualities of kindergarten nursing education, and promote the balanced development of children.

Our Early Years is a paradise for children. You explore in games, improve your skills in hands-on practice, improve your physical fitness in sports, and give play to your artistic imagination and personal strengths in various specialized activities. We always respect your right to choose, voice and initiative, and hope that you will become lifelong learners who are willing to take a risk, good at communication and reflection, and know how to care for others and develop in an all-round way. Dear children, may you always be true and kind, keep learning, take risks, meet challenges, and always strive to be the best of yourself. Remember, the world is full of opportunities, the road ahead is long, and as long as you are willing to work hard and have strong determination, you can achieve your dreams. We also hope that you will contribute to world peace and sustainable development in the future. In Early Yeas, we are a collaborative family of teachers with extensive IB experience, and we are committed to creating a caring and unique learning environment for our students through play. We have a distinctive dual language programme where we encourage using English with home language support. In Early Years, children generally pick up language required swiftly through story-telling, rhymes, songs and THRASS (English). Students’ agency is highly encouraged and appreciated in our young learners for them to be confident enough in their learning journey. To motivate meaningful interaction and development of the whole child in all areas, we provide an environment for children to develop age-appropriate concepts and skills that are related to the IBPYP Key Concepts and Approaches To Learning Skills.
We have a large outdoor activity area, multi-purpose classrooms, library, dance studio and swimming pool facilities, which provide good conditions for children to study and play. We are now adding more specialist teachers to ensure that students receive the best possible education and balanced development in areas such as reading, sports, visual and performing arts. Through the IB Primary Year Programme’s (PYP) inquiry-based approach and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach we endeavour to foster children's learning through the development of all their "languages" and by creating an environment to support this way of thinking and being.
