The High School Division of OCAC-Suzhou is dedicated to providing a diverse, rigorous, and challenging international curriculum system. In the High School Division (Grades 9-12), students can flexibly choose their growth paths based on their individual strengths and university aspirations.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
An academically challenging and balanced programme with final examinations, widely recognized and respected by top universities worldwide. - Cambridge A-Level
The UK Advanced Level qualification, widely recognized by global universities. The curriculum emphasizes subject specialization, allowing students to focus on their strengths. It is ideal for students with talents in specific disciplines, preparing them thoroughly for university-level study. - Art Master Program
Built on the logic of art talent cultivation, this program nurtures composite talents with “creative thinking + artistic foundation + academic ability.” It meets the requirements for multi-country applications, helping young artists step from OCAC onto the global stage. - Oxbridge & Ivy League Program
Dedicated to providing comprehensive, full-cycle preparation for elite students targeting UK G5 and US Top 30 universities. Targeting academic students with research potential and a global vision, the program selects outstanding students via a core model of “PhD mentor supervision + research orientation + realistic simulations,” ensuring a complete loop from academic foundation to successful admission. - Exclusive Bridging Program
Bridging Program：OCAC features a unique bridging program aiming to cultivate mature, confident students with strong academic capabilities and proficiency in academic English. Guided by a whole-subject philosophy, the curriculum is structured around six subject groups to build a solid academic foundation. By the end of Grade 9, students may take official IGCSE examinations in subjects including Chinese, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science, Drama, and Art & Design. In Grade 10, students progress to Pre-DP or Pre-A-Level, ensuring a seamless transition into either the IBDP or A-Level programmes in the following two years.

We have constructed a “Four-Dimensional” curriculum system dedicated to enhancing students’ core competitiveness and holistic development.
- Dual-Track Academic Foundation
Grades 11 and 12 offer the IBDP and Cambridge A-Level programmes.
Parallel & Integrated Curriculum
IBDP Programme：Aiming to develop students intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically, preparing them to participate effectively in a rapidly changing and increasingly globalized society. It is an academically challenging, balanced programme with final examinations, widely recognized by top universities.
In the IBDP, students must select six subjects and complete three core components: the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS).
A-Level(General Certificate of Education Advanced Level)：
The UK Advanced Level qualification, widely recognized globally, prepares students for post-secondary education by allowing them to focus deeply on their strongest subjects.
The A-Level programme typically spans two years:
-Students select 3-5 subjects they excel in and are interested in; passing the exams awards the AS Certificate.
– Students continue with 3-4 subjects; passing the exams awards the A-Level Certificate.
– AS and A2 results contribute proportionally to the final A-Level grade.

- International Competition Coaching：
To enhance competitiveness and support top university applications, the school leverages its high-quality faculty to provide personalized coaching for prestigious international competitions. Professional teachers lead various clubs, offering training in Mathematics, Physics, and other fields to broaden knowledge and cultivate core disciplinary literacy.
- Enrichment Courses： CCA | CAS
The division offers over 50 enrichment courses, including CCAs, CAS, and school teams, covering five categories: Sports, Arts, Languages, and Academic/Technology. We encourage students to utilize school resources to broaden their learning horizons, develop personal interests, and achieve holistic growth.
- Pastoral Care Curriculum：
-In our Pastoral Care curriculum, students develop the knowledge and skills to maintain physical and mental well-being and safety, preparing them for life and work in a global society.
-The curriculum is specifically designed based on student needs.
-It aims to cultivate essential life skills such as critical thinking, self-esteem, safety awareness, resilience, and empathy.
– Themes are based on core principles of physical/mental health, relationships, and living in the wider world (including independent living and overall well-being).

With academic backgrounds from top global universities and extensive experience in international curricula, they dedicate their professionalism and passion to supporting every student’s growth and success.
University Counseling：
University Counseling is an integral part of the high school curriculum. From enrollment, counselors provide professional, one-on-one guidance and comprehensive planning. The school utilizes Cialfo, an advanced intelligent counseling platform, to help students access first-hand university information and refine their university lists.

With extensive experience in international school management and classroom teaching, she is qualified as a Cambridge Assessment English ESL marker and examiner, and is well versed in Cambridge examination administration, academic affairs management, university counseling, and curriculum planning.
Aligned with the academic philosophy of the A-Level system, she advocates a student-centered approach that systematically empowers learners through academic development and university planning. She is committed to unlocking each student’s learning potential and cultivating critical thinking and independent inquiry.
Her teaching expertise covers ESL, EFL, IELTS, PTE, A-Level Critical Thinking, Oxford and Cambridge TSA preparation, academic writing, English public speaking, and debate.
As Head of Pastoral Care at OCAC High School, Shuangjie is committed to fostering a safe, orderly, respectful and caring school environment. She works to strengthen collaboration across student development, year-group leadership and homeroom programmes. She places particular emphasis on developing students' sense of responsibility and respect for shared expectations, believing that clear boundaries provide structure, while mutual respect, understanding and effective communication build trust. Through teamwork and home-school partnerships, she aims to provide students with consistent and ongoing support throughout their development.
Shuangjie believes that pastoral care goes beyond guiding behaviour. It is about helping students develop self-awareness, understand others, take responsibility for their actions, and build the capacity for self-management and independent judgement. She hopes that every student will grow in an environment that combines clear principles with genuine support, developing the confidence and potential to become independent, responsible and empathetic individuals.
